I know exactly what you’re carrying.
My parents left Vietnam with nothing and built a life out of it. I grew up understanding the terms. Achieve, and you earn your place.
So I achieved. Worked at a pre-IPO startup, then eBay, then Google, where I helped design and led training workshops for the PhDs of PhDs.
I was also having panic attacks. Later, a diagnosis. Generalized anxiety disorder.
That is the part nobody puts on a résumé. From the outside the life looked exactly right. Inside it I was performing, and I was close enough to the thing I thought I wanted to know that it was not mine.
Nobody warns you that achievement is a poor substitute for permission. That you can win every argument you were raised to win and still not feel allowed to rest.
For five years of undergrad I never declared a major. I took whatever classes I could so I would not have to say out loud what I was supposed to be there for, which was medicine, because my dad wanted a doctor. I was pretending to be pre-med because I was pretending to be somebody else. Then I dropped out.
What brought me back was leadership. Nobody was calling it a field then. You could study human resources, or engineering, or law, or psychology, but nobody handed out degrees in leadership. I found one anyway, finished fast, and went back for the master’s.
The degrees were never the happiness itself. They were the confirmation of it. Every time I chose what actually excited me over what I was supposed to want, I came back more like myself, and happier than I had been. No promotion ever did that. It was the first of a lot of decisions like it.

It took me years to name what the rest of it had been. I had not been building a life. I had been paying off a debt that was never mine to carry.
So I did the work on myself. Leadership development, the unconscious level, and the Hawaiian healing arts I trained in, all of it together, because no single one of them was enough on its own. I do not manage the anxiety now. I won.
That is also why this work is all encompassing. I am not handing you the one method that happened to work on me. I am giving you the whole map, because the whole map is what it took.
That is the work I do now. Not helping you achieve more. Helping you find the person who got buried under everything you achieved to prove you were worth keeping.
If you are in crisis right now, start with a clinician, not with me. Not because the work is too fragile for you, but because the order matters. I would tell you the same if you were already my client. This will still be here.
This isn’t coaching with a notebook.
Mental and Emotional Release®. Clears the stored emotion and the limiting decisions held in your body and your timeline, so you move without carrying the weight.
Congruence and embodied goals. Underneath every goal you set are unconscious patterns quietly deciding what you actually do. We surface those, then rebuild your goals from your real driving values, the ones that hold across your whole life instead of one compartment of it. Smart goals were never the problem. Setting them from a self you had not met yet was.
Huna and energy work. Clears what sits in the energetic field, working at the level of spirit, mind and body at once.
Leadership and advanced communication. Turns the inner shift into executive presence, difficult conversations, influence, and the ability to advocate for yourself upward.
None of this is borrowed from a book. I trained through Empowerment, Inc. under my Kumu, Dr. Matt James, in the Bray-James lineage, and I am certified in Mental and Emotional Release® and in Huna. The Hawaiian practices I use are carried with my teachers’ permission. I name them because you deserve to know exactly whose work you are standing in.
